What this site is

BlueChipGarage aggregates publicly listed vehicles for sale and produces estimates of their market value and cost of ownership. It is an information service.

Estimates, not advice

Every figure on this site is an estimate produced from public data and stated assumptions. Nothing here is a valuation, an appraisal, an insurance quote, a guarantee of resale value, or legal, tax or financial advice. Market values are derived from completed public auction sales and are shown with the sample size behind them; where there is not enough data we say so rather than state a number. Repair costs and probabilities are typical figures, not predictions about a specific car.

Always obtain an independent pre-purchase inspection before buying a vehicle. We are not a party to any transaction and have not inspected any vehicle listed here.

Listings belong to their sources

Listings are summarised from third-party sites and always link back to the original. Prices, availability and descriptions are controlled by those sites and their sellers and may be out of date or wrong. We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party listings or for anything that happens in a transaction arising from one.

Membership

Membership is billed monthly or annually and may be cancelled at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and access continues to the end of the period already paid for. We may change pricing with notice for future periods. We may suspend an account for automated scraping of this site, credential sharing, or attempts to circumvent access controls.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape, resell or redistribute the analysis on this site, and do not use it to train machine-learning models. It is for your own vehicle purchasing decisions.

Liability

The site is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude liability for losses arising from reliance on any estimate published here, including purchase decisions, repair costs that exceed a projection, and resale values that fall short of one.
